Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

1. Introduction & Commitment

btelb Telecom Communications ("btelb," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our customers, website visitors, and the end users who interact with our telecommunications and artificial intelligence platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and safeguard your personal information, telecommunications data, voice recordings, and AI transcripts across our website at btelb.com, our customer portal, and our communications APIs. By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy, as well as our Terms & Conditions and SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in several categories to deliver and support our business telecommunications services:

  • Account & Profile Information: When you register an account or authenticate using Single Sign-On (such as Google Sign-In) or email credentials, we collect your name, email address, profile picture (avatar), and organization name.
  • Telephony & Call Detail Records (CDRs): We collect technical metadata relating to calls and SMS messages, including caller phone numbers, recipient phone numbers, call start and end timestamps, call durations, routing paths, and delivery status.
  • Voice Recordings & Voicemails: When you enable call recording or receive voicemails, we store the underlying audio recordings on secure cloud infrastructure. In accordance with our plan limits, call audio recordings are retained for ninety (90) days for playback and analysis, after which they are automatically purged.
  • AI Transcripts, Summaries & Insights: Call recordings and real-time audio streams are processed to generate verbatim text transcripts, automated summaries, customer intent analysis, action items, and sentiment scoring.
  • SMS & Text Messaging Data: When you or your clients send or receive SMS messages (such as Lead Recovery Alerts or technician dispatch updates), we store message timestamps, recipient phone numbers, and message bodies.
  • Billing & Payment Data: Payment transactions (such as our $5 verification deposit and monthly subscription fees) are processed directly by certified, PCI-compliant payment gateways. We store only truncated card identifiers (e.g., last 4 digits, expiration month/year, and card brand) and tokenized billing references; we never store raw card numbers or security codes (CVC/CVV).
  • Device & Usage Information: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, referring URLs, and interaction logs through secure session cookies and standard web analytics tools.

3. AI Processing & Strict Non-Training Guarantee

OUR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE COMMITMENT:

WE NEVER USE YOUR PROPRIETARY CALL AUDIO, TRANSCRIPTS, CUSTOMER CONVERSATIONS, OR BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE TO TRAIN PUBLIC OR THIRD-PARTY FOUNDATION ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MODELS.

Our 24/7 AI Voice Receptionists, real-time transcription engines, and automated summary generators operate strictly within secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and private processing environments. Your audio streams and transcripts are processed solely to fulfill the real-time operational requests of your designated business account.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected strictly for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:

  • Providing, operating, and maintaining our business VoIP phone system and 24/7 AI Voice Receptionist.
  • Routing inbound and outbound voice calls, ring groups, and on-call technician dispatch.
  • Generating and displaying automated call transcripts, audio playback, and business revenue insights.
  • Dispatching instant Lead Recovery SMS notifications to preserve sales leads.
  • Processing billing transactions, deposits, and usage overage invoices.
  • Detecting, preventing, and combating fraudulent activities, robocalling, spam, and telecommunications abuse.
  • Complying with regulatory obligations and telecommunications reporting rules.

5. Information Sharing & Mandatory 10DLC Carrier Clause

MOBILE INFORMATION & 10DLC NON-SHARING GUARANTEE:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We disclose data solely to the following trusted third parties under strict contractual data protection agreements:

  • Telecommunications Carriers: Licensed Tier-1 telecom carrier partners and underlying network providers responsible for call routing, number provisioning, and SMS transmission.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Providers: Secure enterprise hosting and compute infrastructure providers for encrypted data storage, identity management, and server execution.
  • Payment Processors: Certified, PCI-compliant payment gateways for processing credit and debit card transactions.
  • Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Law enforcement or government regulatory bodies (such as the FCC or state regulatory agencies) when legally compelled by valid subpoena, court order, or warrant.

6. Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)

Under federal law, telecommunications subscribers possess rights regarding the privacy of their Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). CPNI includes technical information regarding the quantity, destination, type, frequency, and duration of your calls. btelb protects your CPNI in accordance with applicable Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. We do not disclose CPNI to third parties for marketing without your express consent.

7. Data Security & Encryption

We deploy robust enterprise security safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure:

  • Encryption in Transit: All web traffic, user sessions, and voice media streams are encrypted in transit using modern industry-standard cryptographic protocols.
  • Encryption at Rest: Cloud databases, audio recordings, and transcripts are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption algorithms.
  • Identity & Access Controls: Multi-factor authentication, secure identity federation, and strict least-privilege role-based access control.
  • Security Audits: Continuous vulnerability scanning and regular security reviews.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain account data for as long as your account remains active. Call audio recordings are automatically retained for 90 days from the call date, after which they are permanently deleted from our storage systems.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing privacy@btelb.com. Upon account cancellation and verification, all personal identifiers and stored communication logs will be purged within thirty (30) business days, except where retention is mandated by tax, accounting, or telecommunications compliance laws.

9. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We utilize essential authentication cookies to keep you signed in securely, alongside web analytics tools to track aggregate website usage, performance metrics, and navigation paths. We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site advertising trackers. You can configure your web browser to reject cookies, though disabling essential cookies may impair your ability to use the customer dashboard.
